Vuforia

45/100

Vuforia excels for enterprises requiring AR deployment across Android, HoloLens, and rugged smart glasses with robust CAD model recognition. It is weaker for teams deeply invested in Apple's ecosystem who rely on Face ID, LiDAR scene reconstruction, or seamless Swift integration. Manufacturing and field service teams benefit most from its cross-platform reach.

8th Wall

55/100

8th Wall suits web developers and marketing teams needing instant browser-based AR deployment without app store constraints. It eliminates the download barrier but requires JavaScript expertise rather than Swift/Objective-C. Teams lose ARKit's deep hardware integration and native performance optimization.

Adoption RiskExpected friction, training effort, and behavior change needed to move teams onto the alternative.
