Sentry
Connect Sentry event-count and outcome data to Doow.
Connect Sentry when Doow needs event counts and outcome status signals from your Sentry organization.
What you need
- A Sentry organization with projects Doow needs to report on.
- Your Sentry organization slug.
- Sentry OAuth authorization approved for Doow reporting.
Use a reporting-safe authorization
Sentry supports OAuth for third-party applications. The OAuth grant gives Doow access to the Sentry organization selected during authorization, with the scopes approved in Sentry.
Finding your organization slug
- Go to sentry.io and open your organization.
- Open Settings, then General Settings.
- Copy Organization Slug.
The slug is also visible in Sentry organization URLs. For example,
https://myorganization.sentry.io uses myorganization as the slug.
What Doow reads
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Event counts | Aggregated Sentry event volume for the configured organization and time window |
| Outcome status | Accepted, filtered, rate-limited, invalid, and related outcome states where Sentry returns them |
| Category | Sentry categories such as error, transaction, attachment, replay, profile, or monitor where present |
| Project | The Sentry project that generated the events |
| Date | The time window the usage occurred in |
Doow reads Sentry event-count data available to the authorized connection and aggregates it into Doow usage reporting.
What Doow does not read
- The content of any error events, exception messages, stack traces, or user context
- Source code or release artifacts
- Environment variables or secrets stored in Sentry
- Billing payment methods or invoices
How to connect
- Go to Company Settings, then Integrations in your Doow workspace.
- Find Sentry and select Connect.
- Enter your organization slug.
- Complete the Sentry OAuth authorization.
- Select Connect.
- Wait for Doow to verify the authorization and begin the initial sync.
Confirm the sync worked
After connecting, open the integration detail page from Company Settings, then Integrations. A healthy Sentry sync shows a connected state, a recent sync timestamp, and event-count rows for the expected organization, project, category, outcome, or time window.
If no rows appear, verify that the Sentry organization slug is correct, the OAuth grant belongs to the intended organization, and Sentry has events in the selected time range.
Troubleshooting
Use these checks when Sentry data is missing or incomplete:
- Confirm the OAuth grant belongs to the Sentry organization you entered.
- Confirm the organization slug matches the Sentry organization URL.
- Confirm the project has events in the selected time range.
- Check whether Sentry grouped, filtered, or rate-limited the expected events.
- Check the integration event log for credential, scope, or rate-limit errors.
Disconnecting
Go to Company Settings, then Integrations, find Sentry, and select Disconnect. Doow deletes the stored authorization immediately. Revoke the OAuth grant in Sentry too when you want to remove provider-side access.
Next steps
After Sentry events appear, connect an identity provider if Doow needs to match usage to users or app ownership. Connect HRIS when the review needs department or employment context.
