Connect Deel worker records, departments, and employment status to Doow.

Connect Deel when Doow needs employee, contractor, or worker status from Deel.

What you need

  • A Deel account that manages the workers Doow needs to read.
  • A Deel admin who can approve the HRIS connection.

Keep payment data out of this connection

Deel can manage contracts, payroll, payments, and compliance workflows. Doow uses this HRIS connection for worker reporting fields, not contract rates, payment history, tax documents, or banking details.

How to connect

  1. Go to Company Settings, then Integrations in your Doow workspace.
  2. Find Deel and select Connect.
  3. Complete the secure Deel linking flow.
  4. Sign in with the Deel admin account that owns approval.
  5. Approve read access for the worker fields Doow imports.
  6. Wait for Doow to verify the connection and begin the initial worker sync.

What Doow does not read

  • Salary, compensation, contract rates, or payment history
  • Tax documents or payroll records
  • Banking, withdrawal, or payment account details
  • Identity documents, visas, or immigration documents
  • Contract documents, signatures, or legal terms

Confirm the sync worked

After connecting, open the integration detail page from Company Settings, then Integrations. A healthy Deel sync shows a connected state, a recent sync timestamp, and imported worker records with work email, worker type, team, job title, and status where Deel returns them.

If records are missing, confirm that the connected Deel admin can read the workers Doow needs and that those workers have work email addresses.

Troubleshooting

Use these checks when Deel worker data is missing or stale:

  • Confirm the connected Deel admin can read the expected worker records.
  • Confirm worker work email addresses are present and match identity records.
  • Check whether inactive, offboarding, ended, or archived workers are filtered by Deel permissions or sync settings.
  • Check the integration event log for permission or sync errors.

Disconnecting

Go to Company Settings, then Integrations, find Deel, and select Disconnect. Doow deletes the stored authorization immediately. Revoke the connected app or API access in Deel when you want to remove provider-side access too.
