Okta SAML Setup

Configure Okta as your SAML identity provider for Doow single sign-on.

Create a SAML app integration

1. Sign in to the Okta Admin Console.
2. Go to Applications → Applications → Create App Integration.
3. Select SAML 2.0, then click Next.
4. Enter an app name (e.g., "Doow"), upload an optional logo, then click Next.

Configure SAML settings

5. In SAML Settings, configure:
   • Paste the ACS URL from Doow into Single sign-on URL.
   • Paste the Entity ID from Doow into Audience URI (SP Entity ID).
   • Set Name ID format to EmailAddress.

Add attribute statements

6. Under Attribute Statements, add:

   • firstName → user.firstName
   • lastName → user.lastName
   • email → user.email

7. Click Next, select feedback options, then click Finish.

Get IdP values for Doow

8. Go to the Sign On tab and click View SAML setup instructions.
9. Copy the Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL, Identity Provider Issuer, and download the X.509 Certificate.

Assign users

10. Go to the Assignments tab and assign users or groups.
