Troubleshooting

Missing usage data

Why usage data might be absent or incomplete, and how to resolve it.

If your dashboards show no data or less data than you'd expect after connecting an integration, there are several common reasons.

Data hasn't appeared yet

After connecting a new integration, the first sync can take up to 30 minutes depending on the volume of data. Check the Last synced timestamp on the integration card.

If the sync completed but data is still missing, continue reading.

The integration requires additional permissions

Some usage data (for example, Google Workspace app activity) requires an additional API scope that isn't requested by default.

Fix: Go to the integration settings and look for optional scopes. Enable the ones you need and re-authorize.

Usage data lag from the source

Some SaaS APIs publish usage data with a delay. For example, cloud billing APIs may lag 24–48 hours behind real usage.

Fix: Wait the expected lag period and check again. The integration detail page lists the typical lag for that source.

The wrong time range is selected

Doow dashboards default to the last 30 days. If the integration was connected recently or the data you're looking for is older, adjust the date range.

  1. Open the dashboard or report.
  2. Click the date range picker.
  3. Select the period you want to view.

Users aren't mapped

If users from the usage source don't match users in your identity provider, their usage won't be attributed to anyone in your workspace.

Fix: Go to People → Unmatched users to see users that Doow couldn't map. You can manually match them or adjust the matching rules in Settings → Identity mapping.

Data is filtered out

Active filters on a dashboard can hide data that would otherwise be visible.

Fix: Reset all filters by clicking Clear filters on the affected dashboard.

If you're still not seeing expected data after checking all of the above, chat with us and describe what you're looking for and which integration is involved.
