Common error messages

A reference of common Doow error messages with explanations and recommended fixes.

This article lists common error messages you may encounter in Doow, what they mean, and how to resolve them.

Integration errors

"Authorization expired — please reconnect"

The OAuth token Doow holds for this integration has expired or been revoked.

Fix: Click Reconnect on the integration page and complete the OAuth flow again.

"Insufficient permissions"

Doow attempted to access data it doesn't have permission to read. This usually happens when an admin reduces the scopes after the initial authorization.

Fix: Re-authorize the integration with the full set of permissions shown on the setup page.

"Rate limit exceeded — will retry automatically"

The source API returned a rate-limit response. This is temporary.

Fix: No action needed. Doow retries automatically after the rate-limit window resets. If the error persists beyond 24 hours, contact support.

"Invalid credentials"

The API key or service account credentials stored for this integration are no longer valid — they may have been rotated or deleted.

Fix: Go to the integration settings, enter the updated credentials, and save.

Account errors

"Workspace is in read-only mode"

This appears when your subscription has lapsed or your trial has ended without a payment method on file.

Fix: Go to Settings → Billing and add a payment method or renew your subscription.

"You don't have permission to do this"

You're attempting an action that requires the Admin role.

Fix: Ask a workspace Admin to perform the action, or ask them to upgrade your role in Settings → Team members.

Workspace invitation links are valid for 7 days.

Fix: Ask a workspace Admin to resend the invitation from Settings → Team members → Pending invitations.
