Connect Google Workspace
Authorize Doow to read your Google Workspace directory and usage signals.
Connecting Google Workspace gives Doow access to your user directory, group memberships, and (optionally) app usage signals from Google's Admin Reports API.
What you'll need
- Google Workspace Super Admin account
- Doow workspace with Admin role
Steps
- In Doow, go to Integrations and find Google Workspace.
- Click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen.
- Sign in with your Super Admin account.
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
- You'll be redirected back to Doow. The first sync starts automatically.
Permissions requested
| Permission | Purpose |

admin.directory.user.readonly | Read user accounts and profile data |
admin.directory.group.readonly | Read group memberships |
admin.reports.audit.readonly | Read app usage events (optional) |
After connecting
- Users from your Google Workspace directory will appear in People.
- Group memberships are used to assign users to teams in Doow.
- If you granted the Reports API scope, app usage events will populate within 24 hours.
Troubleshooting
If the connection fails, confirm that:
- You signed in with a Super Admin account (not a delegated admin)
- Your Google Workspace plan includes the Admin SDK API (available on Business and Enterprise plans)
